Christmas Meditation

  

Breathing in, I am aware of my in breath
Breathing out, I am aware of my out breath


Breathing in, I feel any tension in my body  
Breathing out, I release any tension to the Earth

 

Breathing in, I feel my chest expanding
Breathing out, I feel my out breath leaving my body

 

Breathing in, body breathes in
Breathing out, body letting go


Breathing in, all beings are breathing in
Breathing out, all beings are breathing out  


Breathing in, we are the breathing
Breathing out, we are life embodied 


Breathing in, I breath in with my ancestors  
Breathing out, I breath out with my descendents 


Breathing in, I am the stream of life
Breathing out, I create no boundaries between water and wave 


Breathing in, I vow to remember my true nature
Breathing out, I vow to live my true nature 


Breathing in, gratitude to be a child of Mother Earth
Breathing out, connected to my true home

Gratitude

Breathing in, I am aware I am breathing in

I relax my whole body.


I am aware of my eyes and the measure of sight I have.

     The calming energy, the transitioning energy

Breathing in, I am aware of the signs of winter

     The cold, crisp air and piercing blue sky

Breathing out, I smile to the signs of winter


Breathing in, I am aware of the winter element in me

     The stillness and clarity of resting

Breathing out, I embrace the winter element in me


Breathing in, I am aware of the signs of spring

     The growing flowers and boisterous birds

Breathing out, I smile to the signs of spring


Breathing in, I am aware of the spring element in me

     The energy of growth and renewal

Breathing out, I embrace the spring element in me


Breathing in, I am aware of the signs of summer

     The bright sun, the warmth of long days

Breathing out, I smile to the signs of summer

     The energy of strength and persistence

Breathing out, I know I can call on those elements when needed
